Sometimes we get the opportunity to work with some of our talented photographer friends in Arkansas. This was one of those occasions where we tag teamed with Jazmin Andrade Photo.

It was a beautiful and crisp day for a wedding at Horsehead Lake Lodge. This is the perfect venue for those who want an amazing overlook of the mountains. Back to these two amazing people! Abby got ready in the upstairs loft with all her bridesmaids, and Paul got ready with his groomsmen downstairs. Paul, coming from an Army background, was also trying to make sure that all the things were happening according to plan. He did mention that he was going to do it all with a smile, because nothing was going to keep him from being happy that day. Abby made sure to party it up before the wedding to get rid of any nervous jitters she had. Luckily she had the best hype squad!

As the time got closer for their ceremony, you could tell they were both eager and excited! As they hadn’t seen each other before the ceremony, we were all super excited to see his genuine reaction! Their outdoor ceremony was perfect, and there were only laughs and the biggest grins you could see on everyone. It’s ceremonies like these that make us excited to be photo-journalistic photographers in Arkansas, because we can portray the story as it actually happened. No posing, just real & raw emotions!

When the ceremony finished, we moved chairs around and took some time to get all the family and bridal party portraits. Luckily, they had listed out the order for family photos, which made the process so much smoother! Then we took time for just Abby and Paul, in the gorgeous overlook at Horsehead Lake Lodge. After spending some time there, we took them down the steep road to the Lake to get photos on the dock. Super dreamy.

It was finally time to go inside and warm up for the reception, and to eat tacos! As they entered with their whole bridal party, they immediately went into their first dance. They then cut their cake, and proceeded to party the rest of the night. We’re super excited for these two!
